Johnson to play at Perth International

US PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson has become the latest big name player to confirm his participation at the Perth International, scheduled to held at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club this month.

The American golfer has managed seven wins on the US PGA Tour since he earned his card back in 2008 including making it to the Tournament of Champions in 2013, an event that he went on to win. His continued his strong start to the season as he finished in second place in the Canadian Open in July.

And speaking about his first trip to the city of Perth to take part in the event, Johnson stated that he loves playing in Australia and mentioned that his fall schedule was such that he couldn’t turn down the chance of playing at the Perth International. Dustin Johnson went on to add that he has heard a lot of great things about the city, the people and their lifestyle from people who have already been there and he cannot wait for the event.

And he mentioned that he is really looking forward to teeing off in Western Australia for the first time in his career. David Rollo, the Vice President as well as Director of Golf for the IMG group in the country has stated that as a member of past Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup teams, Dustin Johnson is a very exciting addition to the event lineup and he is confident that he will be treat to the eyes on the greens of the course.

He stated that the player is a great athlete as well as one of the most exciting players to play the game at this time and it was great for the event that he accepted the chance to play at the Perth International this season.
